BULK TRASH DATES

If it is not convenient to wait for the City-wide bulk trash pick-up, residents may use the South Transfer Station, located at 5601 Hallandale Beach Blvd., Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., telephone (954) 765-4222.

In order to access the transfer station, an Authorization Certificate must first be obtained at City Hall, 6700 Miramar Parkway. The Authorization Certificate, along with a current driver's license/photo identification, and a water bill or tax notice with matching address must be presented to the Station Attendant to gain access to the facility. Please Note: Residents who do not meet these requirements will be denied access to the facility.

An alternative to the Transfer Station is the Broward County Landfill, located at 7101 SW. 205th Avenue (US 27 & Sheridan Street), Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., telephone (954) 680-0085. Current rates are as follows: Cars - $20.00 Trucks - $50.00 per ton for yard waste and $300.00 per ton for C&D.

The following material will be accepted

Oil-based/latex paints, used oil, nickel-cadmium/lead-acid batteries, used tires, paint thinners, paint strippers, solvents, pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, pool chemicals, oven & drain cleaners, spot removers, furniture polish, mercury, and automotive fluids.
